Don't you hate it when someone says a line from a movie or a quote of a famous person wrong? It's even worse when its a humorous one and they laugh at themselves for saying it. And all your thinking is, it would be funnier if you said the line correctly.
There's this one line from The Blues Brothers that people tend to say wrong that bothers me. "You can't lie to a nun, man". That's not the line! It's "You can't lie to a nun." Period. No man.
Another movie quote sometimes said wrong from Star Wars: A New Hope. "You'll be dead, Obi-Wan." No, that's not the line! It's, "You'll be dead!" No, Obi-Wan. Remember the scene, Luke and Obi-Wan are in the cantina and the guy with the weird looking nose says something to Luke about being a wanted man. Luke replies, "I'll be careful" then the guy says to Luke, "You'll be dead!" He says it to Luke not Obi-Wan!
